Star Gaze

Shining knight, such winds do blow. The renaissance of unrequited glow. Armored. Quiver quick. I feel and watch your pulse emit.

Such dust you trail from forgotten cry. Cosmic warrior, I see your shield. The glint of sparks that these sunsets reveal.

Turkish light softness sets on green emerald pastures. You cut through a thousand miles of the borderless, bruised.

This land, this place I wait for you. Touching with thoughts that make it through.

Gnosis

My gnosis, my pleasure, my pain. The same source. No divide, a torch to hold and regain.

Carnal, esoteric, supplication must. As below and above. I defy and deny.

Not on my knees I will go, but instead I stand in power’s presence. Rested, not asundered.

Assurances given to those who know themselves. I have faced the terrors of my deep. For they have wept to renunite with me.

I, taking them inwards, found them a place of strength. Raw they have been, yet now easier to touch. One and united. Hurt no longer destitute. Wholeness now made, resolute.

Encaspuslated

What embrace is but the epitome of truth before grandeur. The Ultimate intimacy with your dark half. Not suffocated, encapsulated without restraint.

Limits, and wanting to be absolved. Moulded and redefined. This mercy, this surrender. Inventible, but remembered.

You are the caterpillar to the butterfly. Patience to be freed. The Needled to need. The loveless to believe.

The Sip

Simple this life, from the bottom of a coffee cup. Aromatic.

Then the sip, teeth to chip, a bitter taste to meet the lips. The warmth through porcelain. Smooth, tabletop stained.

But who’s to blame for my ease when crumbs begin to swim? Obstinate as crumbs are.

They are not swallowed from afar. How they tend to want to sink, with no life raft to uplift.
